    Recently went to cocoa beach for a fun beach photoshoot with one of my favorite models Stephanie Jerez. If you follow this blog you know that she is in a lot of my photos. So once again we teamed up to make this shoot happen. It was a beautiful/ hot day, but we had so much fun running around and getting the shots. Also with us was another photographer Usman Butt from AhmadPhotography. All I can say is that we had a blast.

Patriotic Fun

Happy 4th of July to all…..It’s been two days since the 4th but I couldn’t help but share my most recent series inspired by one of the most important dates in our Nation’s history. Red, White, Blue and sparklers it doesn’t get more fun than that.

Free Spirited

 

Last week I had the pleasure to work with Stephanie Jerez. We’ve been planning to shoot together for a very long time and it finally happened. I was very excited to collaborate with this beautiful lady because she has such an amazing personality and fresh face that I knew she was the perfect model to portray my vision for this shoot. She arrived at my house at about 9am and from there we started to put together some of the outfits that were going to work perfectly. Then came hair and make up, she has beautiful long hair so there wasn’t much to do and I wanted the hair to be loose. She did her own make-up, I didn’t want anything too drastic just something natural that would look great with the carefree look I had in mind. Carefree but still beautiful.  The idea for this shoot came from my love for freedom and being comfortable. Also from the bohemian/vintage style I’ve been seeing all around lately in festivals such as Bonnaroo and Coachella  just to name a few.  This style has made comeback into the 21st century and I love it.

We arrived at our first location around 11am and the sun was already very high up in the sky, so trying to shoot with the sharp/hot sun was a bit tough but everything came together. We then drove to our second and final location and it was beautiful  so close to nature and a boardwalk, it was perfect. There was a lot more shade at this location which made things way easier it was still hot Florida weather, but we still had  a lot of fun. Music was a big part of this shoot, we got to relax and have a good time while taking the pictures. Music truly made this shoot a lot more fun and enjoyable it made me forget about the hot weather.

Classy

 

Had an amazing time shooting with this beautiful girl. We’ve been planning to shoot together for awhile and something always comes up that it never happens so finally after almost two years since our first shoot together, it finally happen. Can’t wait to shoot with her again. My living room has some beautiful lighting that all the indoor photos were taken there and the outdoor ones were taken around my house. It’s such a beautiful location. It’s been pretty cold but the weather was perfect that day.

Summer……..over

School starts tomorrow and so it’s official Summer is done. I had a lot of fun, but didn’t do as many photoshoots like I wanted but hey you don’t always get what you want. I’ve been on wedding duty which will officially be over in three months, cannot wait till that day finally arrives and my obsession and hard work on trying to make everything perfect finally will be over and I will be able to enjoy that very important day in my life. Anyways I felt like this Summer went by so fast, went to the beach a couple of times not as many as I would have loved to, but  still went. For the millionth time I went to Disney, hot disgusting weather. Went to visit my family in Puerto Rico. Took many naps and finished all seven seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I even got my boyfriend hooked up on the series for the last three seasons, it was funny to hear him say “are we watching Buffy tonight?” Aside from working a lot and not working out one single day as I promised my boyfriend I would, it was a fun Summer.

FuN

I’m trying to make the transition from Blogger to WordPress and so I got a lot of old photoshoots that I want to share with all of you. This one was from back in December. I made this photoshoot with my good friend Johanan Colon, he is a very talented individual  attending school to become a graphic designer. Check out his designs and creations on his blog here.

It took place about 10 minutes from my house on a golf course. It was almost sunset and the sky was beautiful. 

Johanan helped me edit this one. I’m still in the process of learning photoshop.

Wild

Back in January I shot with my good friend Shanice Gray.  She is very fashion forward and that’s what I love about her style she is not afraid of taking risks and just wears what makes her comfortable without worrying what other people say. I’ve been trying to shoot with her since I met her and it finally happened. My idea for this shoot was to bring to life the punk and grunge style. I wanted to make it very rebellious and crazy bringing the wild side of Shanice.

We found the perfect location about 15 minutes from my house and we just went for it. I remember that we only had about 40 minutes to shoot before sunset. We drove around a place in where there were a bunch of factories and abandoned train tracks and a bunch of walls with graffiti and I thought “perfect” for the look we are looking for. It was a very fun shoot, so thanks Shanice for being my model of the day.
