    Recently went to cocoa beach for a fun beach photoshoot with one of my favorite models Stephanie Jerez. If you follow this blog you know that she is in a lot of my photos. So once again we teamed up to make this shoot happen. It was a beautiful/ hot day, but we had so much fun running around and getting the shots. Also with us was another photographer Usman Butt from AhmadPhotography. All I can say is that we had a blast.

Patriotic Fun

Happy 4th of July to all…..It’s been two days since the 4th but I couldn’t help but share my most recent series inspired by one of the most important dates in our Nation’s history. Red, White, Blue and sparklers it doesn’t get more fun than that.

Last week I had the pleasure to work with Stephanie Jerez. We’ve been planning to shoot together for a very long time and it finally happened. I was very excited to collaborate with this beautiful lady because she has such an amazing personality and fresh face that I knew she was the perfect model to portray my vision for this shoot. She arrived at my house at about 9am and from there we started to put together some of the outfits that were going to work perfectly. Then came hair and make up, she has beautiful long hair so there wasn’t much to do and I wanted the hair to be loose. She did her own make-up, I didn’t want anything too drastic just something natural that would look great with the carefree look I had in mind. Carefree but still beautiful.  The idea for this shoot came from my love for freedom and being comfortable. Also from the bohemian/vintage style I’ve been seeing all around lately in festivals such as Bonnaroo and Coachella  just to name a few.  This style has made comeback into the 21st century and I love it.

We arrived at our first location around 11am and the sun was already very high up in the sky, so trying to shoot with the sharp/hot sun was a bit tough but everything came together. We then drove to our second and final location and it was beautiful  so close to nature and a boardwalk, it was perfect. There was a lot more shade at this location which made things way easier it was still hot Florida weather, but we still had  a lot of fun. Music was a big part of this shoot, we got to relax and have a good time while taking the pictures. Music truly made this shoot a lot more fun and enjoyable it made me forget about the hot weather.

Summer……..over

School starts tomorrow and so it’s official Summer is done. I had a lot of fun, but didn’t do as many photoshoots like I wanted but hey you don’t always get what you want. I’ve been on wedding duty which will officially be over in three months, cannot wait till that day finally arrives and my obsession and hard work on trying to make everything perfect finally will be over and I will be able to enjoy that very important day in my life. Anyways I felt like this Summer went by so fast, went to the beach a couple of times not as many as I would have loved to, but  still went. For the millionth time I went to Disney, hot disgusting weather. Went to visit my family in Puerto Rico. Took many naps and finished all seven seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I even got my boyfriend hooked up on the series for the last three seasons, it was funny to hear him say “are we watching Buffy tonight?” Aside from working a lot and not working out one single day as I promised my boyfriend I would, it was a fun Summer.

Welcome Back…….Puerto Rico

I’ve been absent for a while working way too much, but hey I got a wedding to pay. I hate not being able to post everyday got a huge list of photos to edit that keep piling and piling up on my edit folder. Will share them with you soon. What I do wanna share is my recent trip to my home country Puerto Rico. I was there last week and it was too short of a trip,  I haven’t visited that country in over three years I was getting home sick. Whenever you are visiting family you want to do so much that the time is too short. I thought that one week was enough but it really wasn’t. However,  I did try to make the most of it. I did took some photos but not as many as I would have love to, since I wasn’t really there on much of a vacation I was actually there to plan my wedding. Check out the wedding location which by the way exceeded all my expectations (its beautiful). Its next to El Yunke, Puerto Rico’s most beautiful rain forest, I loved it.  So I was all over the place calling people and  buying things and hiring someone to do my decorations and flower arrangements, I was busy. I did have a bit of time to spend it with my family ofcourse and my best friend who will be one of my three bridesmaids.   Then Sunday came and I had to get back to FL, one week was definitely not enough………………November its just four months away.

Enjoy some of the photos I took.. My country is beautiful “Oh, how I missed it” It’s always nice to go back to your roots once in a while.

Finding new places

Found this neat place in Downtown Orlando in where people leave their street art. (Well I didnt find it my friend told me about it)

Last week after classes officially finished. I met with my friend Usman at this cool place in Downtown Orlando. This is the first time I go to that place and it’s pretty cool. There is lots of graffiti art in every wall and the neat thing about it is that its always changing, every week there is a new piece of art. Some are very nice others not so good, but hey who am I to say what is art and what isn’t. My friend Usman goes there all the time to shoot, you can check out his work HERE. He has evolve as a photographer and has a very unique style. Th Gonzalo another friend of mine showed up a little while later and it was a lot of fun. We all walked around taking pictures of each other and checking out the place and getting ideas, maybe for future photoshoots and videos. Gonzalo, he is an aspiring filmmaker/director and he’s always shooting videos and coming up with script ideas for his next videos and scenes. He is very talented and can also act he is not afraid to be in front of the camera. You can check out his youtube channel HERE and HERE. Trust me you will laugh with all the things he comes up with.

Summer approaching…..

Hello everyone!!

Taken last year at a trip to Sarasota. I enhanced the colors a bit. It was still a beautiful sunset.

Thanks for vising my blog and liking and commenting on my posts. I’ve been very busy with finals and I haven’t been able to post as much. The semester is now finished and I couldn’t be happier. I will be blogging more and sharing my adventures with all of you.

Summer is approaching and I’m very excited to start sharing my adventures with you. I’m not taking any summer classes this time around for the only reason that I got no money to spend on summer classes and because I’m saving up for my wedding in November. I really need to finish planning and making it happen, I only got 6 months. Aside from all the wedding planning this summer I’m gonna take the time to improve my technique and doing more photoshoots and improving my portfolio. I’m also gonna be traveling to Puerto Rico for my cousin’s baby shower. I will be doing her maternity shoot and I’m super excited for that.  I’m also planning on doing an internship with a photographer, but it hasn’t been confirm yet. I hope that it gets confirm soon, so I can tell you guys all about it.
